1. Overview

CepPod ("we", "our", or "the App") is a wireless camera remote control and live preview monitor utility. We are deeply committed to respecting and protecting user privacy. CepPod does not collect, sell, or track your personal information or media files.

2. Zero-Cloud Local Architecture (No Cloud Uploads)

All live video preview streaming, shutter triggers, and photo/video transfers operate strictly over your local Wi-Fi network or direct Personal Hotspot (Peer-to-Peer). None of your photos, videos, audio, or camera streams are ever transmitted to any external server or cloud service.

3. Device Permissions & How They Are Used

• Camera: Used solely to display the real-time live viewfinder stream in "Camera Mode" and capture photos/videos upon remote trigger.
• Local Network / Wi-Fi: Used to discover and establish a direct peer-to-peer connection between your two devices on the same local network.
• Photos / Media Library (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES & READ_MEDIA_VIDEO): Used exclusively to save captured photos and videos directly to your device's native gallery upon remote capture.
• Microphone: Used to record audio when capturing video in Camera Mode.

4. Third-Party Services (Advertising & In-App Purchases)

• Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID) in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• Apple StoreKit & Google Play In-App Billing: In-app subscription purchases are processed securely by Apple and Google. We do not store or process payment or credit card details.

5. Children's Privacy

CepPod does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.
